2023 Mission Project: Items Delivered!
As one of the NTC UWF mission projects for 2023, hundreds of hygiene items were collected for the Good Neighbor Settlement House in Brownsville, TX. Good Neighbor Settlement House is a nonprofit, multi-service agency dedicated to assisting the needy men, women, and children of Brownsville, TX through programs that provide nutritious meals, clothing, showers, and support services.

Members across the North Texas Conference brought items and hygiene kits to their District Meetings. Joyce Whiteley, Education & Interpretation officer, organized the drive and stored the collected items at her church, FUMC Duncanville. Then in early December, Cynthia Rives and her husband Chuck delivered a truckload of items to Brownsville in November. Thank you, everyone! Your donations are helping those who arrive in Brownsviile, often after a long and treacherous journey.
